Curse Of The Golden Flower.

Today I watched the movie, Curse Of The Golden Flower.

Okay, when I saw the trailer, I said, this show is all about Gongli's tits.

But hey, its not half bad. Kinda good actually.

The photography was very good. Excellent angles. and great colours to the movie.

Personally, I think the baddie in the show is the Emperor. Cuz, if it wasn't for him, him and his stupid quest to gain the rule of the nation, Things would not have turned out this way. Gongli would not have had an incestuous affair, and The Emperor would not have been forced to defend his honour and slowly poison her mind. Then Gongli ( Empress Phoenix) would not have to rebel against the Emperor. and Jay Chou wouldn't have died.

Sigh, people really think I am some stuck up Englishy person. I am not. Look, I watched a Chinese movie. Just because I hate Jolin and all her evil clones doesn't make me anti-chinese.

I dislike Jolin because I think she the Chinese equivalent of Britney Spears. True, I like singing Britney Spears songs. That's because they sound terribly corny and I enjoy a good laugh.

Don't get me started on Cyndi, she just, don't make sense to me. She came around the same time as Jolin, I think she's justa poser. Since Jolin had cut the path for her, the cutsey pie image, she might as well follow it right?

And SHE. No, not she. But the Selena Harry Eloise. <-something like that. They make me think of ' the untalented version of destiny's child.' 3 girls. I doubt the compose their own music or write their own songs.

Ahh, forget it. Some people enjoy unoriginal stuff.
Anyways.
Just to let you know, I do not like much music. Jiexin's very proud of the fact that she goes indepth to music. She listens to underground stuff. Sure, she listens to mainstream stuff. But she also listens to the Underground stuff too. Its not that I do not like music. But my musical influences would be movies.
Yes, believe it or not, when I watch a movie, I tend to buy the soundtrack. Alright, not buy, download. I have songs from Coyote Ugly, to Anastasia, Mean Girls, and some commercial songs.

I would say, I go indepth to books. How many of you know who's Bendis. Brian Michael Bendis. Neil Gaiman. Or Ellen Wittllinger. Catherine Lim? Susan Juby. James Ellroy. and alot more authors. Let me fill you in.

Brian Michael Bendis: Scriptwriter to Ultimate Spiderman, My FAVOURITE comic.Never read anything better than that. And he is the genius behind House Of M.

Neil Gaiman: The man behind the Sandman comics. And, If I am not wrong, one of the comic writers from Marvel UK

Ellen Wittlinger: Award-winning author for Young Adults. Captivating voice in her books. Author of the Psychological thriller, Long Night Of Leo and Bree.

Catherine Lim: In my opinion, Singapore's best author. And the literary voice of singapore. Her awesome writing style, and brilliant plots are equal to the all time classics. Personally, She inspires me.

Susan Juby: Best-selling author of the Alice Macleod books. Funny author.

James Ellroy: Crime Novel writer. I know that two of his novels are made into movies. Such as LA confidential and The Black Dahlia.

This might not be normal. Most people go all 'in' to bands. Like look at people's friendster profiles. Under music, they all have stuff like Lost Prophets and stuff like that.

But it is my passion. Stories. They all call me a bookworm. blah. But my passion is in stories. If I were born hundreds of years ago. I would be a storyteller, or a singer(1).

HAHA.

Just realised something.

When I blog I tend to get out of topic.
