Today, school was rather, boring.
But geography lesson was quite nice.

Mdm Chan gave us a pep talk on O levels on how much more hardworking we ought to be, other than that, she also mentioned, "Are you on the list?" Referring to the retainees list.

-LAUGH- THAT'S THE SEASON 2 HEROES CATCHPHRASE. Season 1 it was "Save the cheerleader, save the world"

I grinned to myself. Like some pervert. Hah.

Anyway, today the retainees were informed and some actually cried. If I were them I would have no qualms of retaining. Seriously, then I would not have take O levels so fast. I am so not prepared.

I wished my school would have let me retained at sec 2 instead, then I wouldn't be banded to do F&N, my F9 subject.

Anyway, I watched Bleach, memories of a nobody, AND IT WAS THE MOST BORING AND MOST BADLY WRITTEN SHOW I EVER WATCHED.

The only 'nice' part was when Ichigo and this Senna girl knelt before her family grave and she thought about her family. RIGHT AT THE END.

I was so relieved this Senna girl died. She was the epitome of stupidity. and act cuteness. and OC-ishness.

I actually anticipated a tearjerker.

Today during English class we watched a movie, Les Choiristes or something.
It's kinda like comprehension, but we watched a movie to answer instead of reading a passage. It was this award-winning french film.

I am swearing off. (okay, not entirely) internet geek talk. Its like the new twit. Everybody is doing it. -dramatic sigh-. I guess you can never fail with good old English.

I learnt the internet geek talk on DeviantArt, and various Livejournal communities. Since these are based on foreign countries, I assumed that nobody would use them here, and I adopted what I thought was a unique way of blogging.

It's not that I despise the mainstream, I just don't like being like everyone else. It is like I am the product from the carbon copy of the world.

But ownage still pwns. <- HAHA.

I went to church yesterday. It's funny how I go to church every week and I resolve to work on my -FAIL- relationship with God, but when I reach home. the resolve is.. dissolved. <- HAHA. dumb.

Well, the sermon, was about compassion. (I actually remember!) Many people don't show a lot of compassion in their daily lives.

I was on the bus with Esther on the way home from a mini-shopping trip at Queensway Shopping Centre. She claims she was in dire need for new shoes/basketball/shorts/diamonds. etc. I told her that humans need God because He complements us, like in our weakness he gives us strength, in our sadness He gives us joy. I suppose it is true. Of course we need God so much more that just this, but this is the provider side of him.

There is this new book I am reading, it's not new, but I have never noticed it until a few months ago, being a movie junkie, heard of this upcoming movie called 'The Golden Compass' The critics were saying that this Philip Pullman's novel would become the next Lord of the rings trilogy. Pretty confident huh? So I hopped down to the library and borrowed the book.

The first few pages, were oddly hooking. Usually all the good books suck until you reach the climax, then it become unputdownable. But 'The Golden Compass' is engaging all the way till where I am reading right now.

The book begins with an attempted murder, then a series of events follow. The words in this book surpass my vocabulary, so I am visiting dictionary.com more often now.

I have reached the climax of this book, and what happens in it is really cold hearted cruelty. I cannot say, lest I spoil the story for you all. Some kids book, huh? I actually gasped from horror.

Okay, people may not agree with me. But when I read/watch stories, I usually feel for the characters, and immerse myself in the rich world the stories offer me.

So, that's why I really enjoy reading and watching movies and all. -smile-

OKay, but teh Golden compass rly owns, srsly. you all should read it. MOAR PLX.

Once, I was out with the Joshua 2 team. AND LULZ. We were at swensens, and intended to get something to eat. The waitress served us all water, and we drank to our hearts content. But then, the food there seemed unappetizing, so we walked out of swensens, of course first finishing our water, then headed down to KFC and ate like cannibals

tell me this was just plain shameless
you got no idea how embarrassing it was, we attempted to subtly escape, but the waitress serving us saw us walking out. LOL.

I am ready to kill. hurhur

i know i should be studying. But i can't help myself. UGH.
my gosh. I am so loaded with work.
its so bad that i end up in this escapist state of mind which causes me to slack off and procrastinate
and thus, I am here blogging :)

Today, while in school, I had another losthandphonescare.
I was starting to get all panicky and depressed like how I usually react when I lose my things. Then, God spoke to me and told me to put my faith in Him, as something as trivial as my handphone, he can take care of it for me. So there is no need for me to be all depressed panicky and worried. He told me that I ought to cling on to His joy, and he would carry me through this.

Of course. I did NOTHING like that.
I did get all depressed. And panicky, and worried. So worried to the extent that Pastor's sermon on worry rang sharply in my head.
Although, I did pray and hand up this burden to God.
Its quite amazing actually. After i prayed, I wasn't so worried anymore. Or depressed. It felt like the problem was solved already. I was quite calm when I told my mother casually, l lost my phone. She did explode as usual. But then, she called my dad and he told her my phone's in his car.

(I think I ought to fix my pockets. there must be a huge hole in there -.-)

Haha, when I see the word burden I am reminded of Mrs Tai's madness.
Gah.
Today I was all depressed and moody, I was a horrible testimony to my class. I actually started the day all happy and cheery.

Its so easy to get robbed of your joy.

I watched another miyazaki film
He didn't direct it, but he wrote it.
mmm.
awesome stuffs plx.
I like!
Its not the kawaii anime or baby porn thing they do sometimes.
But I really appreciate all the tiny details they include in animation.
Which, I admit. I do not see in avatar a lot.
But when it comes to his film, wow. all the details are there.
its really eyecandy.
Imagine this.
A girl walking in the room, towards a coffee table. Behind it there's a mirror. Usually, animators don't put the mirror in the background. But for this case, the mirror is there, and the image of the girl is actually mirror image.
Gasp.
I really appreciate the effort.
Or how about the gorgeous scene in Howl's moving castle.
Howl's room was supposed to be this messy dusty place, gray and dull. (I read the book :))
But miyazaki, or his art director. Decided to make the room colourful interesting and vibrant.
So imagine various magical things are drawn in detail crammed into the scene.
The scene lasted about, say 10 secs? But really, even for this 10 secs, the creators actually bothered to draw such detail

Thus, I say awesomesauce.

So, back to normal unfangirl state.
I came back from OBS.
I still cannot believe I survived.

High school musical and Paprika.
High school musical
Alright. The plot was mediocre.
nothing much.
But I thoroughly enjoyed Ashley Tisdale's acting.
Its easy to act all sweet and lovable,*cough* vanessa *cough* but its not really easy to act the antagonist.
I enjoyed the amazing cheorography of the baseball dance. The "I don't dance" number.
They probably used 4 different cameras.
oh, and it was so bollywood.
haha.
But ( as much as he's totally gorgeous and hot and love) Zac Efron's macho dance of doom in what seemed to be the elysian fields of the golf course was extremely, um distasteful? He can do better than that.

In contrast to HSM 2, the plot was really, what can I say , great?
The story flows and the plot was something new, fresh.
Of course, what really entranced me was the amazing art.
It was a myriad of colours and one piece of great animation.

And the ending was so uncliched

okay. since nobody ever watched the good stuff. I shall tell you the plot sypnosis.
Its about this machine, invented to enter your dreams. Its a miracle in the area of psychotherapy. It can be used to fixed a person's unconscious state, therefore helping the person in any mental problem.
Alright. I can't understand what I am typing, but its every psychiatrists dream.
But one day, its stolen and misused. And the conequences are horrid. The persons like a terrorist.

Zac Efron only seems to star in musicals. Hah!

I just watched Grave of the fireflies. I actually intended to watch Pan's Labyrinth but I changed my mind.

Both stories are really similar, but I think Grave of the fireflies is one better movie. Japanese made animation, but it is not like the horrible anime art you see. Its alot more subtler, considering this film was made 20 years ago, its very.. old looking. Haha.

Its REALLY really super duper touching and sad and it made me cry. :(

Haven't blogged in decades, haven't I?
I have been really lazy lately. Not doing my homework. Being a TV addict.

Oh, and Lovelle recommended me this delicious yumyum tom yum seaweed. ITS SO DELICIOUS, i am addicted! and goes EXTREMELY well with green tea.

Bleach, is getting really boring. I guess the first few episodes are really nice, afterward the story is simply too draggy. Unlike Heroes, the show goes at a very healthy pace. Also, there are some story arcs that is really draggy and boring and blah. I simply can't stand it no more.

I guess anime is like this.

Speaking of anime, I watched 'The girl who leapt through time' with Esther last Sunday. I really recommend you watch this show, take advice from the pro movie goer aka me.

I am back from camp. UGH i hate camps.

Its the annual BB GB camp.

Aye! I had free tix. :) Yeah, it was pretty nice to watch. All recommended to watch by none other than Rachel the Great. Also recommended to bring bug repellent. i watched it on Sunday, last sunday. with cheryl, mic kon and caleb!

My english has been real horrible in my recent post. My apologies. Apparently I am too lazy to type properly these days. I just blog for the sake for recording my life. *grin* Yes, this is what I use my blog for. Did you think the purpose of this blog is to let others know about my life? Of course not.. But I don't mind my readers! You're all my dearly beloved fans! I love you all.

So. Today is Saturday. And I went to church. I love church. Today's sermon was real applicable. Actually, the last few weeks has been movies and movies, not that I mind. Just that I like sermons. You actually learn something. Today's sermon, I believe is applicable to a lot of people.

I realised that most christians do not take the extra effort/step to have that rich and fulfilling relationship with God. The message was based on one verse

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind
-Mattew 22:37

Most christians, including me, do not exactly do all of the above. Frankly, I do not love him with all my mind. God's really not asking for much. Its simply loving him. but the deepest level, and that God is the primary focus of your life. Kinda like a Jesus fangirl. You're constantly thinking and loving him.

But why? Why love him?

Simple answer. Because He first loved me/us.

God's love is by action. And his love is very evident in my life. Honestly, I feel like I am taking God for granted. Whenever I am stressed/sad/angry/in trouble. Who do I ask for help? God, of course. And he NEVER fails me. He always encourages me when I am down, always putting up with my ignorance. He loves me to that extent. God has undoubtedly blessed me so much in my life, but I am so self-centred and always not thankful for his work around me. God is working in my life, in the people around me. I really honest love him for this.

I hadn't realised I am still loving God and close to him until today. I have been decieved that I am seperated from God, that I am undeserving to be in a relationship with him. This has left me rather depressed and sad. See how important God is to me.

When God rejected Cain's offering, Cain was very fired up by it. He got jealous of his brother, Abel. And killed him. Yes, this is not a nice story. But it is very clear that God was important to Cain, and because of that he reacted this way. I am not saying its a good thing, as you don't randomly kill people, esp. your own siblings. God is very important to Cain, just as he is important to me.

God has never left me. He has always been with me, always loved me. My heavenly father.

well. Today I had baaaaaaaand! yay! so fun. I learnt a new (sorta new) time signature, 3/4+2/4 which basically means two diff time signatures played alternatively.

Well, I started to play real horribly at the start, Tasya begin to give me the "what are you playing?" look. Hah!
Leon patiently taught me the rhythm and I finally managed to play it properly, but not perfect. We also several new songs.
Actually, the upcoming prize giving ceremony has got more songs but I am not as stressed as SYF.
and we got less time now.
Spania sounds real nice, so does, Everybody loves a march.
Oh my! I love those songs!
The sec1s have joined us and now the band is massive. A strength of 83 people. *whistle*
I drove my bandmates crazy today but singing CACTUS JUICE and waving my hands about. I also demonstrated a pathetic bodywave. ( Yes, this is what we do in band.RUBBISH! HAHA)
Btw, Its not me that's plain bonkers. Tiffany and Sabreena are also nuts. So don't call me 'siao' just yet.

oy! I'm back from blogging hiatus. Have been watching avatar obsessively and I finished two seasons. GAH. I am geeking. AGAIN. ugh.

Well, SA1 wasn't as AWFUL as expected. Here are my results.

English: 33/50 ( not the overall yet.)
Maths: 50/100 WHOA! Too bad this isn't the overall.
Chinese Paper 1: -Unknown-
Chinese Paper 2: 50/100 <- OH YES.
Chinese Paper 3: 9/30. oh crud.
Science Paper 1 Chem & physics: 27/40 *SOB* *CRY* *TEAR HAIR*
Science Paper 2 Chem: 52.5/65
Science Paper 3 Physics: 56.5/50
Overall science: 80/100 ooooookayyy.

That's all I have. Now awaiting my F&N results. I probably didn;t do so well despite studying. Oh well.

UGH. science paper 1 is MCQ PLS. OMG. How can I get 27/40. I nearly died hearing this. I always get full marks! Okay Not always. But I actually walked out of the exam feeling like I would get full marks. Disappointing.

Alright. random word.

Kk. I have watched 200 pound beauty! thanks to cheryl for telling me its on youtube. Uh, it was REAL nice :) and she looked real pretty at the end. And I also watched Spiderman3!! WOOOHOOOOO. The movie was like a 2 and a half hours of intense battling with my bladder. haha! See, I really needed to pee. and the movie haven't ended. So. I held everything in. How excruciating. Well, I shan't say spoilers. But the comment on this movie is that: THE CASTING DIRECTOR ROCKS. Flint Marko looks EXACTLY how I imagined him. Andddddddd, SPIDERMAN IS ONE HOT NERD. But there was this scene he looked like Joel Madden.. okay. Shan't say so much.. its a real cool show. Go go watch. It made me laugh, cry and cringe at the violence. Awesome aye?

And, yay! I went to church today. And Pastor didn't preached. We just watched a movie on the endtimes. And discipleship was real fun. We finished the cake meant for the whole cellgroup. haha! What to do. The cake is chocolate! How can anybody resist a chocolate cake right infront of your face aye? Even my, Thou shalt not eat junk food commandment is BROKEN. gasp!

Okay, so basically we did the rock climbing, made a raft and went across a pond, many bonding activities and some mudbath/pig thing. Okay, its called the nature ramble, BUT ITS ALL MUD.
That's cuz it rained before we started the mudtrail.

Oh, and of course, the campfire was gooooooood. :D
we had song, dance and games.
Syakila was terrified of dancing, honestly we should have asked Raz go instead. Everybody did some slutty dance and Raz has promiscuous written all over her. But Syakila did a GREEAT JOB :)

I tented with Trixie, Marilyn, Charlene, Wee yin, Huda, Sanam and Jane :) TENTMATES.

but there were alot of distractions and it wasn't that kinda great quality.

Oh, about the advice you all gave me. When I was in the mudbath/pig thing, I constantly checked for leeches. Thank goodness none stuck on to me. Too bad, I wanted to check if it as true that If I applied saliva on the leech it will fall off.. ( thanks yining! )

And, Cheryl, you told me to stray from vegetables to avoid doing, uh, big business in the camp. Cuz the toilets there are so gross. Turns out I ordered a vegetarian meal plan cuz last time I was one. lol. So I ate mainly vegetables.

Honestly, I never heard the band play so bad. The timpani esp. It had a solo, and turns out it was out of tune, so it went boom, boom bom bom SPLAT. something like that.

Sunday's a great day. Too bad I'll have to spend it doing homework.

Every week, I do my homework on Sundays. ( And I never finish it )

So, to procrastinate starting on my homework. Let moi blog.

So,
uh. Yesterday. Yeah.
Saturday Service. Although Good Friday was not even mentioned, I think that the Youth Alive band was here to celebrate Good Friday with us. The worship was real great. The songs were not familiar, but I thought its better to give God all or nothing. So, I tried my best.

Oh yeah, the soccer cheer praise was.. interesting. Something new.

Band was this last minute rehearsal. I am still not good. And tomorrow's SYF. And I am not scared. Cuz I can ask God and he'll help me of my awful playing.

And I missed the drumming workshop cuz of band. And Jiexin was not at all happy.

I rather go for the workshop then band. Honestly.

I learnt quite alot from the sermon yesterday. I understood its not at all easy to come up with a sermon, and in order to do so, you have to be real annointed. So, I took Pastor Paul's words like they were from God. And man, they were very applicable to my life.

Pyromania. ( obsession over fire.)

Pyro, btw is an Xmen character. He's one of the bad guys.

oh. ewwww! Today I woke up to a horrid nosebleed. Its so gross man! I ran to the bathroom, thankfully I didnt drip THAT much blood. I lost alot of blood, when I was done uh, bleeding, the bathroom floor was crusted with blood. The sink was coloured red and very very disgusting.

I was bleeding alot. let me tell you this. When you attempt to stop a nosebleed, you have to tilt your head up, when I did that i started choking on my own blood. oh man. this is WAYYYYY gross.

tmr there's a bandmates girls night out! Or, at least I hope so :D

btw. The last band practice was VERY LAME. You see, our percussion major started talking about sheep, so they were cracking lame jokes about sheeps. Like, can you imagine if everyone is a sheep, a sheep with a human head. etc.

Okay, it sounds real lame. But it damn funny then. The joke-machine, aka Nelson caught sight of my spiderman comic, and started by saying spidersheep. We exploded with laughter. then, added stuff like sheep in a spiderman costume swinging to and fro on buildings, and the spidersheep slinging webs saying mehhh..

okay. this sounds real lame. but it was dang funny in the band room. We had to stifle our laughter as the conductor was still conducting the practice.

yay, tmr got band. Oh, and Jane's real annoying. :)

yeah! i loved it, honest.

I can say that, although i do play upbeat sometimes, i have definitely improved. I don't stop out of a sudden and lose count. :D

And for the shoe problem, ( my mom has tiny feet) there was spare shoes in the cabinet!

oh, and I had a wonderful time with my fellow bandmates on the bus! Sabreena, Joalyn and Elaine! although we are supposed to be resting.

The ambience of the SYF rehearsal hall was also very official :D. and uh, it was at 9 shenton way, Singapore conference hall. I think so.

Although, I had a scare though. Because I live so darn near, it would be plain stupid to take the bus back to hillgrove, and then back again. So I decided to return straight home from there. So I took my bag along with me. I left it on the front row of the red plush seats. After we moved the instruments out and onto the truck, and went back to get it. The door was locked. And when I managed to get in, the bag was GONE.

turns out someone help me to take it. LOL.

Btw, I would like to say this for the fun of saying. Playing instruments and moving instruments are two different things. See, I play the bass drum. It basically remains immobile, but today we obviously had to bring it out. Honestly, its shocking how heavy it is. Phew.

Ahh, this is the update for you yining! :D Life is certainly dreary. F&N is getting more boring and tedious; I am still lovin' greentea! and I still suck at the bass drum.

For those who ARE ABSOLUTELY behind times about the things of moi. ( yours truly), I have joined the band, as a temporary member till SYF is over. the 2 cca points are real tempting.

Tomorrow's the rehearsal at Victoria Concert hall, & I couldn't be more ill-prepared.

First off, I dont have the shirt and the shoes.
secondly I CANNOT PLAY THE BASS DRUM. actually i can, but i have an AWFUL tendency to lose count.

thank GOD, that there's God around to help me. I prayed, and i managed to get the shirt from Sherie, who is a Ex hillgrovian band member. As for the shoes, my aunt offered to lend me hers.

Let me explain. Some time ago, I kept using "period" to end my emphasize my points, or to just shut them up. Then they (both) started to make fun of me.

so, when pastor daniel used "period" THEY found it real amusing, and embarrassed themselves.

Alright. I am here to update. Because SOMEONE *cough*yining*cough* said so.

Okay, I love you alot for chasing me to update my blog.

Today was dreary. Everybody please pray for me, I have a maths common test tomorrow, and I sense impending death. oh well. And, I have english Common test tomorrow. Although everybody thinks I am great at english, I am not. This is not me being humble. I mean it. I can only manage a B3 or A2 or so.

Oh, YINING. ( thats meant to be funny. laugh) Today, I learnt posting in POA lessons. pretty easy.

And today, I had a FULLY chocolate lunch. Woooo~

Sigh, I just promised myself I wouldn't eat anymore chocolate. ( Actually, you cannot fault me. I had no lunch, and the only place to buy food was cheers)

btw, if you noticed, I have been eating meat again. I AM A TERRIBLE VEGETARIAN. sigghh.

after school there was this HUGE downpour. The whole parade square was seriously flooded. there are no puddles, just one huge area covered in water about halfway up the ankle. Okay, my english is so bad, you can't understand me. Let me speak the universal language of pictures.

Luckily, one of my friends friend. A guy whom I have never talked to before, called his uncle to fetch him. So, all of his friends went to steal a ride from the uncle. Me included. And I have NEVER. I was in Malaysia yesterday. Mmmm.. I may dislike going there, the journey is super long, and the place is full of mosquitoes. But my cousins are KINDA (mildly) cute. Alright, just one. Her name is Nadine. She sticks to me all the time. Honest. She's 6 years old. And when she's 13 I am 22. whoa.

Oh, but that's not why I am blogging. Today, I went to this lounge at the Marina Mandarin atrium with my family. At last, some quality family time. Let me describe the environment.

Dim, elevated, cozy area with lounge chairs and tall, slim waitresses in cheongsams serving the customers. I sat on a high-backed leather recliner while my parents sat on the orange loveseat with black cushions. A square glass coffee table is in front of my chair. One table away is the band with a female singer in a green dress, a pianist, 2 violinist, and a cello-ist (?) Glance skywards and you see a magnificent sight. All 21 storeys of the hotel stacked up and the glass ceiling gives you a peep at the night sky.

Enough of this hoo ha.

I must say that the Hotel has an EXCELLENT bathroom. Clean white and modern.

I realise I take alot of notice of the toilets in various places. Like the ones in America, ARE HUGE. Seriously, and they seem to have an abundance of hand towels. Even the toilets in the gas stations are clean, HUGE and equipped with rolls of hand towels.

I don't even wanna talk about the ones in Thailand. Doesn't even have flush.
oh but the toilets there are fit for royalty. Like MOI.

I ordered a mango cheesecake ( YUMYUM) and a Shirley Temple. A virgin drink no worries. :)
Like this costs $22. WHOA. HAHAHAHA. But the ambience was goooooood.

Today was raining, but there was lotsa sunlight! its was practically sunny and rainy. No, I did not come from some cave. I know this occurs in Singapore, but I wonder WHY. Its certainly strange, considering the lack of clouds.

I cannot believe that LINE is in a Disney film
Yes, I watched Disney's Hercules.
I remember that I read the story of Hercules when I was real young, before I watched the film. I read Greek Mythology when I was real young, my all time favourite was Jason. The guy who got the golden fleece. And, I also liked Theseus and the minotaur. I liked the latter because of its bittersweet ending. And of course, the story of the sack of Troy, which I read about the Helen of Sparta's disloyalty, and I was torn. I could not tell who was the protagonist. Was it Paris? Helen, or Menelaus? then who was the antagonist?

btw, Oedipus is a terribly good story.

thats the biggest news. I combed the ENITRE comics section of Bukit Merah Library to find it. I think there's only 2 copies in the NLB. xD xD.

its a matter of using your brain actually. I checked the code of the comic before I did my search. But the comics are not arranged alphabetically, or in any order known to mankind, so I just checked the code of ALL the books under 741.5973 -[ART] looking for the code of my book. Not much, Only four book shelves and 2 movable trolleys.

and I found another Sandman book. Just, my library Quota has reached its max. -.-.My mom confiscated my two other cards.

I am having troubles academically.
School's terrible. Its tiring, homework is loading up. And today, in front of everybody, Mdm Khong made it a point to tell me my pooey chinese is terrible and I should opt for CLB.
Ahh, I know she means well. But of course, Qianyi made it a point to rub it in. Next time I flaunt my pro English to her! *victory dance* <- that was so not necessary.

& I probably has Brain damage doing maths today. Something popped in my head. Surely. If not how come I did so badly. Let me check. *pries head open*

Oh, and I am trying to make an uber zilian pic to put at the corner of my profile. Cant seem to be photogenic even for one shot. *Loud Sigh*

I just had MATHS tuition. Coulda died. honest. For the first half hour I had the ability to concentrate. After that everything crumbled.

Today, was uber uber sad.

I lost the cap of my $3 pen.

ALRIGHT. I know this is not a good reason to be uber sad. But I still am.

Felt kinda bad though, I gave Brendan alot of trouble.

I guess today's church was alright. ALRIGHT.

I learnt alot of things, honestly.

I always complained that although I go to church and all, I do not have an intimate love relationship with God, Now all i have to do is do my QT properly. Which I just did, call Alicia on time :)

This week was a rather bad week. I didn't do my QT every single day, and I didn't do my experiencing God. I only did 2 days of Experiencing God. ( In case you don't know, that's a book I am doing, not some weird christian thingy.)

So that's why there's no 'intimacy' in the relationship. You don't bother spending time to converse with God then you expect to be so uber close to him. Tsk.

Anyways. I also learnt that God knows that being holy in this unholy world ( some uber quote that Christians always use.) is difficult, and suddenly, like epiphany, I suddenly realised something about myself. I realised that I was trying with my own strength to be holy, and I am failing miserably. Its high time I realised that God is here to help me with it! I felt that God understood how it was like. I do not know how to describe it,but then, I felt like a burden has been lifted off my back. I felt at peace, and I felt pleasant, something i have not felt in a while.

hoho anyways.
after church my parents came to fetch me home by their car. And Brendan said, "Hey, you have a brother?" Then I gave him a shocked look, and glanced frantically to the backseat of the car, looking for some long-lost brother. Turns out it was my GRANDMA. hahahahah.

I lost my wallet. ( So ironic, read the post below, and I found a wallet, then I lost MINE.)

Sad thing is my mom cancelled my EZ-link card, making me replace my card with the even uglier sec1 picture. *vomits*

Among all the 12 wallets and 3 handphones I lost, you gave me back the last one. And that I am grateful.

Exaggerated with the numbers. But its is true I have lost quite a number of these valuables.

Guess what I found in school today?

A wallet! and not any old wallet. A wallet belonging to a 18-year old. This means, Nc16 movies, M18 movies, and party!

Of course, I handed it to the school authorities. After digging the whole wallet, Many cards and a total of $120++ was found. LIKE WOW.

Why then, did i go and give it to the authorties. Pfft.

Just kidding, Of course I wouldn't do all that. Though te movie thing is really super tempting, the girl in the picture has bangs, and no glasses. And she looks at least 12.

Anyways, wasn;t just me who found it, I think Agnes/Qianyi saw it first. But I was the one who ran excited ly to it. HAH. I am so money hungry.

Oh, today was terrible.
Prior to not doing my chemistry homework, because of band, and the fact that i live super far from my school. I didnt have time to finish my homework.

And thus, it led to a whole chain of events. Suchas me made to copy the first chapter of my chemistry textbook after school. And then, I was late for GB.

Ironically, my GB teacher is also my chemistry teacher. She released me at maybe, 2.45pm? ( I have a watch. Accurate digital one.) And then I am told to get changed and rush through my lunch.

There's barely enough time.
And I am suppose to fall in to the Girl's Brigade contigent at 3.00pm.
Of course, I rushed there, and my watch said 3.02pm.
Anyways, the GB has always been falling in early.
So because I was not early, and also late by 2 minutes. Therefore I had to be punished.

And after all the copying from my chemistry textbook, my right hand weakened, I still bravely took the punishment of 20 push ups.
It was uber unglam, but I swallowed my pride and dignity, to take the punishment I so clearly do not deserve.
It was a little harsh..
The Girl's Brigade had never punished a girl with pushups. not even 1.
And here, I am told to do 20.

Okay, this makes me feel better.
But they were really unfair, hello, 2 minutes. 20 PUSHUPS? those were the 1st 20 push ups of my life, frankly.

My arms are aching. and some strange reason, my chest too. And my right arm has been rendered limp by such brutal assault. ( YES lah, Jiexin, I know I am FRAGILE.)

But I am not here to rant about the unfair treatment. I am sure everybody has their days. But this is victory in the Lord for me. Why? I got punished today, twice, once to copy the first chapter of my chem textbook. I did it without giving trouble to my teachers. I did it silently, and I respected her authority over me as my teacher. 6 months ago, profanities would have flown from my mouth and slapped her on her face. I would yell scream and be defiant. ( ask wanzhen)

I am so proud of meself:)

Also, Having given the punishment of 20 pushups that was WAY TOO HARSH. I still did it, I did not sulk, I did not give my teacher the cold shoulder. I didnt even do it reluctantly. I did the 20 pushups with, I would say, excellence in the spirit.

Having said all these, I think I passed the test of respect towards authority and humility.

And even though the teacher was too much, I forgive her. :)

Although I did sulk, during GB P&W. And of course I learnt that Jesus wouldn't do that, He wouldn't sulk. So I decided to cheer up.

Oh, btw, the irony of the P&W is that. We are singing praises to our God, why is someone who doesn't believe in him lead the worship?

Sigh, bad point of today was that, I was punished in front of all the sec1 recruits. They probably lost all respect for their senior already. :( And probably heavily regretting joining GB :)

muahahahaha.

And I think I might have migraine. As in there are early signs and symtoms. I am kinda worried.

alright. I have to do my homework soon.
